Seriously, you couldn't ask for more from a hotel. The rooftop pool was amazing. Complete with bar service and deckchairs. The breakfast was lovely. The reception was always around to answer questions and even printed out ferry timetables and did a little tour plan for us. The location is right next to the station and near the ferry port. There's really nothing else you need from a hotel in Sorrento.

Stayed at this hotel for two nights while on a Trafalgar tour. Hotel has just been renovated and is very funky! Location is great as the hotel is situated a block back from the main shopping area so is very central. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of foods and very obliging staff who ensured that the buffet breakfast was topped up regularly. What a great stay!

We had one night in Sorrento on our way to Praiano, and booked Hotel Plaza from Expedia. Wasn;t sure what to expect, but to say we were pleasantly surprised is an understatement. Fantasitc modern hotel with great rooms (not huge) but modern with great bathrooms. Brilliant roof-deck and pool. Excellent trendy bar/lounge. And in an unbeatable location, and really well priced. The staff were fantastic too. Rafaelo was superb. This place was such a find that we stopped in for a night on our way back from Praiano too at the end of our trip unplanned. We actually met friends who were staying at the super-highend Hotel Europa and took them to Hotel Plaza for a drink and they were blown away by how good this place was at a fraction of the price to the Europa.

Agree with all the reviews here. Stylish decor, very comfortable, friendly helpful staff and a great breakfast buffet - something for everyone there. Also glad to find the aircon was quiet and controllable, as it was essential to shut out the street noise.

Hotel Plaza is in a really convenient location - just minutes from the central square of Sorrento and 5 minutes from train station and bus stops . The hotel is decorated in a modern style and is spotlessly clean. There is an infinity swimming pool on the roof with sun terraces and a bar. The views from here are amazing. We paid extra for a room with balcony overlooking the road and this was well worth the money. The sound proofing of the rooms is excellent and noise is not a problem. The bedrooms are not large but have everything you need for a pleasant stay. The staff are very courteous and helpful, especially reception and the breakfast waiters. If you fly in to Naples airport there is a bus to Sorrento that leaves from outside arrivals approx every hour and a half.. The fare is 10 Euros.

l'albergo è molto bello posizione ottima pulizia eccellente e la piscina è fantastica per non parlare della costiera amalfitana favolosa !!una vacanza indimenticabile!!!

My wife and I stayed for 5 nights in September. Weather wasn't as good as we hoped it would have been, but this is not the hotel's fault. The hotel is brand new and its position is perfect, located right in the centre yet quiet enough to let you sleep. Breakfast was very good - plenty of choice in drinks and savoury and sweet food. We wouldn't recommend the bacon though!. The breakfast room was nice and bright but no natural light came in and so at times it didn't feel like morning and then there was always lounge music playing which doesn't really help you wake up if you're feeling tired. The room was nice and spacious but a little cold - the aircon was really strong and at times when we came back it felt like an igloo! The pool is situated on the top floor, the pool itself is pretty tiny and you can't have a real swim in there but there are plenty of loungers and a bar and so if the weather is nice, it's a good place to lap up the sun and the view is beautiful! The staff was really friendly throughout the hotel. We paid 110 euros per night which is really good value, considering location and facilities. If they continue to offer this price then we would definitely come back.
