We shall keep it short and sweet marvellous hotel, you get everything you want from a hotel here and would recommend it to anyone travelling to Sorento. Excellent.

Myself and partner have just returned from a 3 day break staying at the Hotel Plaza. It is probably the most centrally located hotel and yet it somehow manages to keep an air of tranquility about it whilst madness ensues on the roads outside. The staff were absolutely lovely from the cleaners to the management and nothing was too much trouble for them even imparting their knowlesge on places to eat and sight see. The rooms are clean, comfortable and smart. If I had to add any negative (and it is a very small one) the beds are exceptionally hard and the balcony too small but as everything else was wonderful these were insignificant. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family as a base to visit Sorrento and the surrounding area

Very nice hotel near piazza tasso back in the center of the city. No noise from outside, clean and lovely rooms with modern comfort. very nice and friendly staff. Breakfast is excellent and you have the possibility to get lunchtime snacks. To get an evening meal there are lots of very nice restaurants in the area, on a very good price. I definitely recommend this hotel. When we "torna a Sorriento" we will book this hotel again. Belgium, 01/06/2011 till 08/06/2011

I looked for a long time on the internet, travel books, speaking to people who had been to Sorrento for the "perfect" hotel in all areas of Italy. Since I was arranging our vacation without being on a tour, I wanted everything to be just perfect. I happened to see Hotel Plaza on one site so I decided to read about it and then call the hotel direct. I spoke with Cinzia who answered the phone and from our conversation, I was "sold". Cinzia is an absolute delight, so friendly, caring, happy, accommodating and helpful answering any question I had (and I had many). When we arrived we had a front room with a balcony on the 5th floor and when you sat out in the evening you could see the twinkling lights of the surrounding areas with Mt. Vesuvius in the background. A truly amazing site, day and night. Piazza Tasso was just down the end of the street and we were close to everything---a wonderful location. Hotel Plaza was spotless, had all the conveniences, very modern bathroom and of course the breakfast was wonderful---one of the best in all Italy!!! From the salame, pancetta, cheeses, breads, typical breakfast items of the US, fresh fruits, squeeze your own juices, and cakes and tarts, it was all delicious. Diego and Giuseppe were our waiters who made sure you had everything you needed. Service and surroundings of the entire hotel were impeccable. Rafaelle and Giovanni at the front desk were also wonderful. Our 4 night stay in Sorrento was one of the highlights of our trip. Train station was a 5 minute walk and this location was the best. Don't hesitate, call Cinzia at the Hotel Plaza and you won't be disappointed!!! Enjoy your stay, the sights--Capri, Amalfi Drive, Positano, the lemon trees, Lemoncello drink, see the olive trees, all simply marvelous--and enjoy the Tarantella show---all Molto Bene !!!! Ciao

Nello scorso fine settimana ho soggiornato presso il vostro albergo. Un'ottima sistemazione sia per la camera che per la dislocazione in Sorrento. Eccezionale la prima colazione. Tutto � curato molto bene e cortese e professionale � il servizio da parte di tutti gli addetti. Ci torner� insime a mia moglie molto volentieri.

We have just returned from a two week stay in Hotel Plaza. It's rare to come across a hotel that gets uniformly positive reviews but the Plaza is the real deal. It's modern, spotlessly clean, in a brilliant central location but still quiet. A special mention for the staff, particularly Cinzia and Rafaelo who were very helpful, professional and cheerful. They all gave the impression that they enjoyed their work which is not something that you come across too often. The cleaning staff were very discreet and thorough with the same helpful attitude. We will definitely go back to this charming hotel.
